Dr. Chespak was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Growing up, he was involved with medicine at an early age as his father was a physician and his mother a hematology lab technician by trade. He knew that he wanted to have a career in the healthcare field due to this upbringing. He was dedicated to his education, repeatedly achieving Top Ten of his class in high school. After high school, he attended Boston College and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology while additionally completing the necessary requirements for the Pre-Health Program. He then returned West and attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. At UNLV SDM, he earned Dean's Honor List three years in a row and was additionally awarded the Dean's Scholarship Fund for educational prowess. Dr. Chespak completed externships with oral surgery residencies at multiple Boston hospitals, was a lecturer at the College of Southern Nevada Dental Hygiene, and was asked to sit on the interviewing team for potential incoming first year dental students. Dr. Chespak achieved certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He graduated in May 2016, but his dental education was not yet finished. He was accepted to the General Practice Residency program at Rochester General Hospital in New York, where he honed his skills and acquired new ones such as implant placement and operating room dentistry. His knowledge of dentistry, and more importantly medicine as a whole, increased exponentially during this residency year. He practiced dentistry in Boston, MA for 8 years before making the move to the St. Petersburg area with his wife Alexandra. Dr. Chespak enjoys treating all patients with all different dental problems. He is well-versed in root canals and restorative, cosmetic, and prosthetic dentistry; however, his specialty lies predominantly with surgery. He loves helping patients remove problematic teeth, replace and preserve bone, and resume proper function and esthetics with implants. In his free time, Dr. Chespak likes to swim to stay in shape and golf with his wife, friends, and family. He is overjoyed to be welcomed to the team at Dental Arts Ninth Street and is dedicated to do his very best to provide exceptional dentistry to the St. Petersburg community.
